Virology is the study of viruses, nucleic acid complexes, and proteins capable of replication in cells of humans, plants, and bacteria. Viruses usurp the roles of the host cells in which they are parasites to reproduce themselves.

Mycology is the biological branch concerned with the study of fungi, including their genetic and biochemical properties, taxonomy and human use as a source of tinder, medicine (e.g., penicillin, yeast infection medicine), food (e.g., beer, wine, cheese, edible mushrooms) and entheogenes, as well as their dangers such as poisoning or infection.

Virology & Mycology involves all aspects of animal (or) plant and microbe virus and fungus research. Many disciplines, including cell biology, structural biology, molecular biology, genetics, biochemistry, biophysics, immunology, morphology, genomics, and pathogenesis, are expected to include the approaches and techniques used. The journal welcomes basic research on new diagnostic tools as well as pre-clinical and clinical studies.

The Editorial policy of Virology and mycology Journal is to publish all research which is assessed by peer reviewers to be a coherent and sound addition to the scientific literature, and puts less emphasis on interest levels or perceived impact.

It is clear why public will benefit from open access and open data portals: free information and more of it empower society. The range of information available in Open Access also enables researchers and other consumers to have easy access in obtaining the information. Right from 7 years we have been working in publishing quality articles which improved citations world wide of our journal irrespective of the type of the article. This achievement is obtained not only by the organization itself also involves immense contribution of Editorial team members, reviewers and authors of our journal.
